under development. It will contain information and guidance on the
local Colchester countryside, recommendations for walks and where to
find useful information.
Camuplodunum
A 25 mile long distance walk around Colchester.
This walk is broken down into convenient sections orientated to bus
routes or can be taken in two bites or even as a long-distance
challenge.

The Keeble Collection
This is a first of a list of wonderful walks
both short and long that Derek Keeble has put together over many years
of rambling. Each walk includes an interesting description and a
sketch map to guide you round. You probably don't even need an
Ordnance Survey map to get you round. But try and get one anyway,
it makes for good training to relate the description and the ground to
the OS map. Venture on the walk at your own risk, the Colchester
Group of Ramblers Association takes no responsibility for the
description or what you may encounter on the walk. All the
