Park in Daisy Meadow free CP, Chapel Lane, Heybridge Basin (grid ref TL 871 068 postcode CM9 4RX). Meet outside the Old Ship Inn, about 150 yards from the CP, left along the canal towards the river. The pub is open for coffee and toilets. Pre-order lunch (fish and chips recommended). Alternatives for lunch are the Jolly Sailor and Wilkins “The Lock” tearoom. A fig of 8 fairly flat and easy going. Morning walk to Goldhanger across fields and 4 styles, then returning to Heybridge along the river wall. Morning circuit to include the churches at Raydon and Holton St Mary. Lunch stop at The Wenham Queen, own food can be eaten outside. Afternoon walk to include the church at Little Wenham.
