The Colchester Ramblers Social Group

The Colchester Ramblers social group organises non rambling events for members of the Colchester group. Past events include ten pin bowling, attending concerts, barn dances and going out for evening meals.

To help with the bookings of events and paying deposits we ask that a one off donation of £10 is made to the Colchester Ramblers. There is a separate bank account which is managed by the group and whose money is solely for the use of the Social group. If you wish to make a donation please post to me at the address on the contacts page.

Detailed below are forthcoming events. We try to organise one event a month, so as not to completely swamp you with choices. We have also avoided other group events such as the Coach rambles organised by Jill and David. Let me know if you want to attend any event.

If you have an idea for an event they you think would be of interest to the group then please let me know and I’ll spread the word. A couple of months ago Mick Offord put me in touch with a friend who was organising a barn dance. Twenty of us had a great evening and are looking forward to another event later in the year.

If you would like to receive details of new events as they occur please send me an email and I’ll add you to the mailing list.

Here are some new events for you, if you would like to attend then please let me know. For events where you can purchase tickets in advance to receive a discount, let me know when you have your tickets so we can meet up before event.
